Angel, sweet angel of my dreams,
have you flown back to heaven
and left me here in this world alone?

You are the image in my dreams,
The sun in my day,
the moon of my night.

Though they may try,
the clouds cannot hide your warmth
and the stars cannot steal your beauty.

Your presence brings peace
your touch brings joy
your kiss brings life.

Without you i do not exist
i am a void,
merely a shadow in the dark.
